Developer D.R. Horton has announced that they will be begining construction of Ka Malanai townhouse complex in Kailua. The $100 million project will be located on Kailua Road across from Kailua District Park and will have an estimated 153 units. Originally, D.R. Horton had planned to begin construction in 2008, but due to the recession an economic downturn, the developer decided to place construction on hold. Tentatively the properties will range in price from the $400,000s to $800,000s.
