Don Quijote May Buy Marukai

The Don Quijote Company has announced that they are considering purchasing the Marukai Corporation USA. Under the proposed plan, Don Quijote would own 100 percent of Marukai's stock.  Both companies specialize in Asian grocery items, especially Japanese foods and delicacies.  Marukai is by far the smaller of the two companies with only 11 stores in California and Hawaii combined.
