According to a report released by the United States Bankruptcy Court, the number of people filing for bankruptcy in Hawaii has decreased in January. This marked the 11th straight month in a row where bankruptcy filings have declined from the same month a year prior. Per the report, there were 212 filings in January, as opposed to the 305 cases filed in in January 2011.
